So what now? To answer Bibi’s lingering question from the season one finale, season two of Roomies takes us not only to the next step in Bibi and Ama’s life, but also to their new, unlikely home: an old kindergarten.
Without the structure of school and with empty wallets, Bibi and Ama find themselves falling head-first into adulthood — and it’s not the soft playground landing they’d hoped for. While the people-pleasing Bibi starts daydreaming about a life outside her first relationship, the so-called independent Ama shocks even herself by craving the one thing she’s always sworn off: stability.
As they both chase their own versions of freedom, a new question echoes through the kindergarten: is living together helping them grow up — or just helping them avoid it?
Also: they’re still gay.
